Snapz Pro X

Snapz is shareware, it is not free. After the 30 day trial period the software costs $29. There are currently no free, open-source video capturing tools for the Mac. The good news is that Snapz is a slick and powerful tool. The captured video is of much higher quality than what's offered on the PC-side and the audio capture function works as intended.

iSquint

iSquint is a free iPod converter for Mac OS X. iSquint takes ease-of-use to another level, literally allowing you to convert most file types with a single click. iSquint's presentation is extremely straightforward and user friendly (you won't have to worry about information overload). There is some customization available if you dig into the advanced features, but for the most part, the hardest choice you'll face is whether you want "Tiny" quality or if you want iSquint to "Go Nuts" with the quality of your video.

Bittorrent

Bittorrent is the underlying filesharing and peer-to-peer software that allows the easy transfer of very large files through distributed networks. Bittorrent also provides a "client," which is software program that an end user can use to download files using the underlying bittorrent software.
