New Media Rights shared resources: EFF's Subpoena Defense Resources

The Electronic Frontier Foundation was founded in 1990 and has fought for civil liberties and digital rights in many of the most important legal cases pertaining to freedom on the internet.This list of attorneys around the country offers a useful resource if you have been accused of illegally uploading or downloading copyrighted works in one of the many recent lawsuits against anonymous "John Doe" internet users related to peer-to-peer filesharing.  Some of the attorneys on the list offer their services for free and others are for fee.
