Local Company Releases Open Source Security Software

OpenSAMM (Software Assurance Maturity Model), an open source security system which can be added to any software, has been developed by software security expert Pravir Chandra of Cognosticus here in San Diego, and has recently been released to the public. While most of the Dark Reading article (link below) is in impenetrable techo-jargon and business-speak, and few NMR readers may have occasion to use such a system, it's terrific to see more open source solutions released for everybody to use, and it's great that they're being generated right here in San Diego.
